OUR MISSION
Treasures Cakes is one of only a handful few bakeries that offers a variety of custom products from eggless cakes to dairy-free cakes. We believe everyone should be able to experience treats, no matter their food restrictions! Outside of custom-made cakes for any occasion, we offer our clients a full scope of sweets, including but not limited to macarons, tiramisu, dates, brownies, cupcakes, cookie platters, and savory phyllo-style turnovers/strudels.
We take the utmost care to work with our customers to guarantee that each request, from cakes to cupcakes to cookies, matches their vision for the special event it’s intended for. Whether it’s for a birthday, a wedding, a going away party, or even for a simple “I just felt like it”, our goal is to ensure that our customers can enjoy high quality creative products while offering an affordable price point!
MONIKA'S STORY
Monika has always been passionate about art since a very young age! As a high school student, she channeled her creativity by painting and experimenting with flavours in Indian cuisine. Whether it was painting, cooking, or designing with fabrics—art has always been her passion! Monika’s dream was always to translate her love for art as a meaningful career. When she was given the chance to take wedding cake decorating classes in Montreal nearly two decades ago, she knew this was something she would love to do for the rest of her life! After finishing her classes, Monika baked cakes at various different bakeries until 2017, when she decided to open her own bakery in Regina.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Treasures cakes makes my family’s favourite cakes! I’ve been ordering birthday cakes for my dad for the past two years and each time they came out so soft and moist with the right amount of sweetness and, while looking amazing and still being affordable. A lot of cake designs I request are usually made with fondant or buttercream, but since my family likes the whipped icing so much, Monica always does her best to accommodate our special requests. This year I requested a poker themed cake and she printed out some fondant playing cards and poker chips as decorations!
Had Treasures provide a cake when celebrating my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. They were able to provide a cake with an edible picture from their wedding day on it. Everyone who attended loved the artwork on the cake and the taste of the cake. I received a lot of positive comments on the cake as the icing wasn't super sweet. It was very delicious. I'd highly recommend them.
So happy to have found this lady! Ive been buying all my cakes from her for the last two years. The cakes she makes are perfect all around and not too sweet! The whipped icing is great! My family has many diabetics and these cakes are great for them. She is very accommodating and always put out the designs I wanted. 100% recommend!
